What sets CATHCA apart is that we are not simply a standalone NGO—we are a dynamic network of over 220 grassroots, faith-based organisations rooted in communities across South Africa, Eswatini, and Botswana. Ranging from health clinics, OVC centres, and hospices to home-based care and community-outreach organisations, our members form the lifeblood of our work. CATHCA operates as a hub-and-spoke network, empowering these actors by supporting, amplifying, and connecting them to one another and to national systems—ensuring that local knowledge, compassion, and commitment drive every intervention. With strong local roots, values-driven coordination, and a commitment to continuous learning and adaptive management, we remain responsive to evolving community needs, scale our impact, and build lasting trust with the people we serve.
