Development of CATHCA Strategy for 2026-2030

The CATHCA Strategy for 2026–2030 was developed through a participatory process that included input from member organisations, Board members, staff, stakeholders, and beneficiaries. The process was facilitated by an external consultant and involved strategic workshops, telephonic interviews, surveys, and site visits. The final strategy was circulated for review and approval by Board members through a round-robin process.

This new five-year strategy is deeply rooted in Catholic Social Teaching and reflects CATHCA’s commitment to holistic, compassionate, and community-driven health care. A key insight from the strategy is that CATHCA’s strength lies in its unique “hub-and spoke” model, which links a small, skilled national office (the hub) with over 200 local, faith-rooted health organisations (the spokes) to extend essential health care to marginalised communities.
