Expanding Access to HIV/TB Services in Underserved Communities

We believe no one should be left behind in the fight against HIV and TB—especially those living on the margins.

Through local partnerships and faith-based networks, CATHCA brings lifesaving HIV/TB services to communities that need them most. We support early detection through widespread community-based screening and contact tracing, and ensure swift linkage to care via referral pathways and coordinated support.

Our trained community health workers and peer educators deliver targeted prevention messaging, promote treatment literacy, and offer psychosocial support that empowers people to stay in care. We also champion stigma reduction by engaging faith leaders and local structures in open, informed dialogues around HIV and TB.

In every setting, we put people first—bridging health system gaps with compassion and trust.

This work is driven forward with the collaboration of Catholic Relief Services, the Department of Health, SANAC, and other dedicated partners.

Together, we’re turning the tide on HIV and TB—one household, one community at a time.
