The CATHCA team has done it again! A Training Workshop was held on 8 February 2025 at the Rabbuni Centre for Catholic mental health co-ordinators, representatives and ambassadors coming from different parishes within the Klerksdorp Diocese.
The training highlighted key resolutions that will assist to strengthen the Ministry within the Diocese. Collaboration and Integration between clergy, health professionals and laity was deemed of paramount importance for the future sustainability of this critical Ministry.
Greater awareness and outreach programs are needed to educate clergy, laity and congregants about the Ministry. CATHCA’s role will be to equip both Clergy and Laity with the necessary tools and skills to ensure sustainability and the future success of the Catholic Mental Health Ministry within the Diocese.
The goal is to spread the Catholic Mental Health Ministry throughout the entire Diocese of Klerksdorp.
