FASD Awareness Day was marked with energy and purpose in Soweto, where Lindanisizwe Home Based Care hosted a powerful stakeholder dialogue on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) and ADHD awareness.
The event was led by three passionate Community Health Advocates, whose professionalism and commitment inspired lively discussion and learning. Stakeholders and community members came together not only to share knowledge but also to listen, ask questions, and strengthen understanding of how these conditions affect families and communities.
With 10 stakeholders and more than 50 community members in attendance, the day was a true celebration of collaboration and community spirit. It was a reminder that through dialogue, awareness, and compassion, change is possible — and that every step towards education brings hope for healthier futures.
